Proposal Evaluation

Do you have an idea for a book, but aren’t sure how to start or where it might fit in the current marketplace? I can evaluate your one-to-two-page book or series proposal and offer notes about how to best tailor it for submissions to agents and editors.

Includes: Written notes. 30-minute zoom to discuss the notes, talk about what should be included in your proposal, and help you kick off your writing process.

Outline Evaluation

Are you an outliner? I can read and evaluate your outline and offer notes on character, plot, setting and world-building so that you can make sure you’re in the strongest position to get started writing.

Includes: Written notes. 30-minute zoom to discuss the notes and help you kick off your writing process.

Price: $500 for 10 pages or fewer. $20 for each additional page

 

Manuscript Evaluation

Available for completed manuscripts or partials. Need another set of eyes on your manuscript? I’ll read and evaluate your manuscript’s strengths and weaknesses and provide a two-to-three-page letter that will help you focus your revision for success.

Detailed Editorial Letter

Available for completed manuscripts or partials. This is the full-on editorial treatment—exactly the sort of edit you’ll get from a professional editor at a book publisher. A full read with notes on the manuscript, and a full editorial letter of five or more pages to direct your revision and bring you that much closer to a submittable draft.

Revision Review

Available as an add on to a Detailed Editorial Letter, I will review your revision once complete and offer final notes and tweaks so you can polish your manuscript before submission or self-publication.

Feel like you’ve got a solid final draft and are about ready to submit to agents or publishers, or to self-publish? I’ll conduct a full line edit to ensure perfect grammar and continuity.
